How do I make first-time installation?

Generally, OCB configures itself at the first start. But if you installed OCB and WinRAR to different drives or you haven't installed WinRAR before installing OCB, you will be asked to specify WinRAR.exe path manually. In order to do it, click "Options" menu to go to the Settings window, General tab and find WinRAR.exe using "Find WinRAR.exe" button (or enter full path manually - usually it is "c:\program files\winrar\winrar.exe").

Temporary folder is also set automatically to the default Windows temp folder, but you should check that this disk has enough free space to create large archives.

The other settings are already set to default values which normally satisfy most users, so you can get back here any time later to customize OCB for your needs.

Now you are ready to create your first preset.
